About & HLHA Board
Herons Landing is Long Grove Living at its Best

Established in 1989, Herons Landing features more than 110 custom homes on acre-plus sites. The neighborhood is surrounded by conservancies, forests, ponds and the rambling Indian Creek.

Herons Landing is located less than two miles from the highly rated Stevenson High School. Residents in the lower grades attend District 96 schools: Country Meadows Elementary and Woodlawn Junior High.

Our community is ideal for families that value beautiful surroundings, quality schools and close proximity to shopping and entertainment. Herons Landing is also a popular choice for Chicago commuters with the Metra train line just minutes away.

Exclusively, Herons Landing is Long Grove's only community with Lake Michigan water. Water was originally provided by wells, which homeowners now use for their lawns and landscapes.

An Association of Passionate Volunteers

The Herons Landing Homeowners Association (HLHA) is run by a board of dedicated, resident volunteers. The association board plans community activities, beautifies common areas and ensures all operations run smoothly in the best interests of homeowners, with annual fees among the lowest in Long Grove.
